Behzad

Behzad is a M.Sc. student at the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at University of Tehran, where he is co-advised by Prof. Mehdi Tale Masouleh and Prof. Ahmad Kalhor. He is a Research Associate at Human and Robot Interaction Laboratory. His M.Sc. thesis title is “Modeling, controlling and identification of parallel manipulators.”

Prior to joining TaarLab, he collaborated with The Institute for Intelligent Systems Research and Innovation (IISRI), formerly known as the Centre for Intelligent Systems Research (CISR), where he focused on the kinematic and dynamic analysis of parallel manipulators.

He received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Tabriz.


His research interest mainly revolves around:

  • -Kinematic and Dynamic Modeling of Multibody Systems.
  • -Screw Theory.
  • -Base Inertial Parameter Determination.
  • -System Identification.
  • -Modern Control Theory.
  • -Collision Detection.
